Meet Ugandan Fine Artist /Tony Green
Tony Green is obsessed with the African human form. He uses all sorts of art media to breathe life into his art work. The Market collection for one focuses on the central role markets play in the life of an African. The excitement on market day, the toing and froing of the crowd with their wares on their head and the bustling atmosphere are the sort of things Tony insists need to be captured in Art.
More especially African Art.
Tony plies his trade from the dusty hills of Kyebando on the outskirts of Uganda’s capital Kampala. His Studio is a small garage attached to the main house of his family Home.
Philip mainly works with canvas and Acrylic paint but on occasion will include light fabric and materials into his pieces.
